"Once I've ensured that they're all safe and their concealment is maximized, I'll come back to help."
William maintained his smile and made a signature welcoming gesture. "Go on. By the way, you shouldn't need me to open a passage to the outside world for you anymore, right?"
Regan did not answer. In front of everyone, he dismantled his indestructible all-metal body into strands of pure-white wires, which pierced straight through the tent and vanished.
