The orphanage playground burned in raging flames.
All the staff, along with every student who dared to obstruct Yi Chen, had been killed. Corpses were piled all over the playground, in heaps large and small. Now, only one person remained—the final knot in Yi Chen's heart.
Director Cao had fully revealed her true form before him, spreading out like a Human Centipede. She was his biological mother, at least in the physiological sense, and also the orphanage's finest teacher—the one who had supposedly raised Yi Chen painstakingly from childhood.
She was currently crawling with difficulty, having already been defeated.
Yet Director Cao's face showed no fear of death. Instead, it held relief, along with a sincere smile unlike any she had ever shown before.

Director Cao's centipede-like body was thrown into the flames and burned to nothing, while her head landed atop the corpse pile. Due to her individual traits, she did not die immediately.
Just as Yi Chen was preparing to deliver the final execution, he hesitated when he saw the smile on Director Cao's face. His revenge should not have ended like this.
He wanted to see despair and hatred in her eyes.
