The clinic's origin, the site of Doctor Selection, and the center for compiling, analyzing, and storing medical records. It was also the region with the organization's highest medical standards.
Even internal staff could only enter and leave the hospital during designated hours.
For outsiders, setting foot in the hospital required even more cumbersome procedures and layers of approval.
Yet Yi Chen, standing before the main entrance, was immediately escorted inside after showing the guards a special Business Card. A security guard even led him personally.
"Vice Principal Visari instructed us that if you came here, you were to be taken immediately to the office building where he is. We'll handle the related procedures afterward."
"Sorry for the trouble."
Pathogen Center
It was a huge, sealed white square building. As one approached, one could clearly feel the magnetic shielding. The white building material itself possessed powerful shielding properties.
Intelligence regarding pathogenesis within the organization, various types of illnesses, pathological research conducted by Gentleman Doctors, and important documents and reports were all stored here in book form.
Rumor had it that a large portion of the Sick Ones captured alive were imprisoned here, where the Death Doctors under Visari's command studied them.
The building had no obvious entrances or exits. Instead, black door-shaped frames had been painted on certain white walls.
At the guard's signal, Yi Chen approached one of the black frames. A special force field immediately swept over his body, followed by a radio transmission:
"Special visitor William Berens. Information backed up. Green clearance granted!
"Please follow the arrows on the ground to Vice Principal Andre Visari's office. Do not deviate from the designated route along the way, or you will be isolated and processed."
The black doorframe temporarily vanished, and Yi Chen immediately stepped through.
