Volume Three consisted of 318 chapters. The protagonist progressed from unlocking the source to completing the pathway, perfectly filling in the Ancient Gene and achieving a kind of "Gestalt." The entire story's setting also shifted completely from the Gentleman Organization under the Human World's worldview to the Old World.
The Old World's structure, its system of ailments and predicaments, the impact of the wars of the past, and who exactly the participants in those wars were were all revealed to varying degrees.
In the next volume, the protagonist's goal will formally turn toward the Skin Factory. The process will inevitably be far from smooth, and he will certainly encounter other matters along the way. The connections between worlds will also slowly begin to open up.
