Keximani (Gethsemane), Zion's orchard in the aftermath, was the department dedicated to handling special events. The fruit pickers trained within it all had one common title—"executioners."
Even after being relocated, Keximani remained beneath the city of Flumouth.
When William revealed his identity and took the elevator underground with Regan, he immediately sensed the intense killing intent accumulating below.
Zion Incident
If one were to name the department with the highest transfer rate, it would undoubtedly be Keximani.
Because of its completely different educational system, Keximani's executioners were utterly loyal to the organization—or rather, loyal to Prophet Yuri.
The entire underground city showed no sign of slackening. All the executioners were undergoing special training, adapting as quickly as possible to bodies without skin and restoring as much of their former combat strength as they could.
William was an old acquaintance here as well. As he walked through the underground city, the executioners greeted him with glances or nods.
The closer they got to Prophet Yuri's abode, the heavier the aura of slaughter became. Bloodstains had even seeped into the floor.
"This killing intent is even stronger than before... Did Prophet Yuri become stronger after losing his arm?"
William and Regan had just reached the entrance to the Prophet's Abode and had not yet knocked when a humanoid maid opened the door from inside. The maid was none other than William's "student," Irina—the proprietress who had once sold pancakes on the lower streets, and also a key figure in resolving the Nightmare Event.
"Teacher, long time no see! After meeting Miss Jin, Mr. Yuri went straight to the arena on the Lowest Level. You two should hurry down and take a look."
"Hm? Did they start fighting?"
"Probably. Mr. Yuri isn't in very good health, and he hasn't been eating regularly lately.
