A central staircase connected every floor.
As Deslin stepped onto the stairs, particles of stardust appeared beneath her feet. They climbed the staircase ahead of her, reconstructing the Principal's Office at the very top.
During the period she was away from the school, the Principal's Office had never been exposed.
"Come in. My office has never allowed so many people to enter at once."
She lifted the Star Curtain that had fallen at the end of the stairs and pushed open the office door made of deep-space meteorite iron. An office brimming with the aura of the stars appeared before them. It even felt as though the gravity inside could be adjusted freely.
Deslin had begun her special project as soon as she took over the school.
She had made the Principal's Office the "school's center." Every important location on campus had a Star Node. As long as anything abnormal happened within the school, she could arrive at the scene immediately.
Because Deslin held absolute authority over the school, she was the only person who knew about this.
Once everyone had entered the Principal's Office and the door had been shut,
Deslin lightly touched the floor with her toe, seemingly activating a switch. The walls and floor of the office slowly faded away, and the gravity gradually dropped to zero.
Everyone inside felt as though they had been placed among the stars.
As the Spokesperson of the moon, Lorien adapted to the sensation of floating instantly. He even wore an expression of considerable enjoyment.
Deslin turned her gaze toward the miniature planet suspended in the center of the office and slowly approached it as if she were looking at her own child.
As she gently touched the planet's surface with one finger...
