The moment he cut off Greed Glid's head, even the usually reserved Yellow Skin stiffened.
This was one of the Seven Marquis, representing the highest combat power among the Silver Circle Diseased. And yet William had actually killed him.
Yellow Skin had originally only admired William's courage and abilities.
After William reached the Abyss Pathway, Yellow Skin had also begun to believe that this young man might truly be able to overthrow and reorganize the Skin Factory.
But it would still require a long period of accumulation. After all, setting foot into the Silver Circle could only be considered the beginning of becoming an Old Day Diseased. There was still a long road ahead.
Who could have known that right after William embarked on this path, he would actually kill one of the Seven Marquis who was already nearing the end of it?
There were several contributing factors, of course. He had completely fused with Moonscar Lorien, Glid was the weakest of the Seven Marquis and happened to be vulnerable to William's abilities, and he had fallen victim to an illusion because of his carelessness, among other reasons.
But the fact remained that William had killed a Seven Marquis. Looking across the entire history of the Old World, there had never been anything so outrageous.
In Yellow Skin's eyes, the contract he had signed with William seemed about to be fulfilled.
