Yang Bo could see clearly from the mountain that some members of the Thieves Guild had still escaped.
First were the nobles' knights. Their mounts had already been exhausted, and they had only just begun clearing out the small bands of bandits causing trouble outside Green City.
They had charged through another wave just now, while the Black Armor Cavalry had mainly been responsible for scattering the clustered bandits.
That gave some isolated bandits an opportunity.
Some fled along the irrigation ditches through the fields, while others ran straight toward the nearby mountains.
The Thieves Guild's infantry scattered in all directions as soon as the cavalry charged them.
Because those infantrymen knew that the fleeing cavalry ahead of them would be the pursuers' primary targets.
Yang Bo had no solution for this situation either.
Neither the Black Armor Cavalry nor the knights accompanying the nobles had been prepared for something like this today. Had they been prepared, each man would have had two or three mounts, but even then, dealing with infantry spread across the mountains and fields would have been difficult.
Especially when those infantrymen fled into the mountains.
By the time Yang Bo returned to the academy, an hour had passed.
There was a small path behind the academy leading up the mountain, where two castles stood.
Those two castles were Green City's final line of defense. If Green City and the academy below it were breached, they could only retreat to the two castles at the summit.
There was no fortress in any world that could not be breached.
"Lucky Handy!" When everyone saw Yang Bo return, they came up to pat him on the shoulder. Of course, only nobles could do that now.
"Good!" The City Lord was delighted as well.
The City Lord felt as
