Yulia was intently tinkering with something in her room, wearing a monocle specially designed for focusing and magnification.
Just then, a light knock suddenly came from her door.
...Who could it be at this hour?
Her brows furrowed slightly. She set aside the tool in her hand and paused her work. "Come in."
Yulia pressed a button, deactivating the alchemical lens hanging over her left eye and making it automatically flip up.
If she had been at home, Yulia definitely would have ignored them. But this was the Silver and Tin Palace... Who knew whether some important figure or urgent matter had come looking for her?
