Xia Chujian remembered that she still needed a cutting board and didn't even have any bowls, so she cut several more pieces of Langgan Qingbi Jade.
She planned to make them into a cutting board, bowls, and plates.
After returning to Diwu with several pieces of Langgan Qingbi Jade, Xia Chujian went to the back mountain behind Diwu.

Xia Chujian had no idea what Stone Pottery was, but after digging out a piece, she finally understood what Seven Lù meant.
The mountain was rich in clay.
And it was hollow inside, like a natural kiln.
Some unknown fire had been burning within it all along, yet it had not burned through the mountain. It had only fired all the clay inside the mountain into pottery.

Xia Chujian dug out two pieces, hollowed out their centers, and turned them into two deep pots.
One could be hung from the beam inside Diwu for stewing and boiling food.
The other could be set over a bonfire for frying food.
On the way back, Xia Chujian spotted a cluster of jade-green bamboo. She simply cut down a thin stalk and dragged it back, intending to make bamboo chopsticks.
Once everything had been moved into Diwu, Xia Chujian began arranging this naturally formed small wooden house.
A long rope twisted from tree bark hung from the center of the room, with a Stone Pottery Deep Pot suspended from its lower end.
Below the deep pot was a fire pit Xia Chujian had built with stones.
