The divine danced through rainbow light, piercing the heavens; at his waist hung a treasured talisman of Life and Death.
Beneath Spirit Vulture Mountain, he was known as Dipamkara Buddha; from time to time, he attended the Pantao Banquet to add to the realm of longevity.
The assembled immortals recognized him as Dipamkara Buddha Daoist of the Perfect Enlightenment Cave on Spirit Vulture Mountain. They hurried from their seats to welcome him beneath the reed shelter, respectfully invited him to the seat of honor, and exchanged greetings before sitting down. Only Chen Guang and Tianshu were left neglected to the side, without even receiving a proper glance—as though they were two silent, withered stalks of grass, quietly hidden beyond the halo.
Dipamkara Buddha sat cross-legged, a cool, secluded fragrance escaping his lips. "Fellow Daoists, you arrived early, while this poor Daoist came late. I hear that the Ten Heavenly Lords of the Interception Sect have laid down the Ten Absolute Formations to block the King's army of Xiqi, defying the laws of Heaven. I simply wonder who should take charge of breaking the formations now."
