Background / History

Hestia initially had no Familia members and struggled to recruit anyone in Orario. Other adventurers avoided joining because she was alone and unable to offer much support, leaving her anxious that Ling Xuan—whom she had noticed a month earlier—might refuse her offer. His decision to join made him appear as a savior to her. 1

She personally performed Ling Xuan's Familia ritual in the basement of their church residence, applying her blood to his back and granting him Falna. Ling Xuan was the first person to receive her blessing, and his abnormal initial stats and unreadable skills immediately surprised her. 1 2

As Ling Xuan rapidly accumulated wealth and achievements in the Dungeon, Hestia stopped relying on part-time work. She continued to update his status, taking pride in his unprecedented growth while worrying that his progression was too abnormal to understand. 6 7 13

After Ling Xuan became a Level 2 adventurer, Hestia attended the Gods' Assembly to secure him a respectable title. He was subsequently recognized as Pioneer, a title that drew attention from other gods. 36 38
