• Ling Xuan defeated Admiral Krieg and destroyed the Krieg Pirates’ fleet before reaching Loguetown with Kuina.
• Smoker and Ling Xuan stopped the Tiger Head Pirates’ hostage-taking, and Ling Xuan joined the Navy after meeting Smoker.
• Aokiji approved Ling Xuan for the Elite Training Camp and brought him and Kuina to Navy Headquarters.
• Ling Xuan and Kuina moved into a house near Headquarters, and Ling Xuan began Zephyr’s training alongside the other recruits.
• Ling Xuan completed Zephyr’s thousand-lap run, impressing the instructor and fellow trainees.
• After Zabuto won the trainees’ combat tournament, Gude challenged Ling Xuan, and Ling Xuan unleashed his Infinite Moon Slash.

Ling Xuan captured Golden Lion Shiki, earned promotion, and dismantled Arlong’s hold over Cocoyasi Village before Sengoku summoned him for a Navy-versus-CP0 contest. The arc ends as Ueda Ichi arrives on the contest island and Tsuru warns Ling Xuan that his opponent may have admiral-level strength.

• Ling Xuan declined offers from Sengoku and Garp, stayed with Zephyr, and graduated early as a rear admiral assigned to the G3 Branch.
• After investigating falling debris, Ling Xuan found Golden Lion Shiki’s floating islands and defeated him, leaving the Flying Pirate Group to be rescued near G3 Branch.
• Sengoku promoted Ling Xuan to vice admiral and Admiral candidate, and news of Shiki’s capture spread across the world.
• Ling Xuan visited the Sixteenth Branch, uncovered Arlong’s collusion with Colonel Rat, killed Arlong, and arrested the corrupt Navy officers.
• Nami chose to follow Ling Xuan as a Marine, and Ling Xuan, Kuina, and Nami visited Koshiro before Sengoku summoned him to Headquarters.

Ling Xuan killed Ueda Ichi, then set out on leave and pursued Gude to Dressrosa, where he defeated Doflamingo and Kaido’s Three Calamities. His victory triggered Kaido and Big Mom to form an alliance against him, and Sengoku sent Navy admirals to confront them.

• After Zoro fell to Hawk Eyes Mihawk, Ling Xuan challenged Mihawk and defeated him in a final clash of sword techniques, claiming the title of world’s greatest swordsman.
• Sengoku publicized Ling Xuan’s victory, and the news named him the Navy’s fourth Admiral and the Sword Saint while Kaido and Big Mom began coordinating.
• Ling Xuan returned to Shimotsuki Dojo and asked Koshiro to arrange a meeting with Dragon, then proposed cooperation and argued that machines should hold authority.
• Dragon considered Ling Xuan’s proposal with Sabo and later agreed to work with him, while Ling Xuan departed Shimotsuki Village with Kuina and Nami.
