The bell marking the end of lunch break rang, and the students who had returned to their dorms for a rest came out of the dorm buildings and headed for their classrooms.
Zhou Baowei and Bai Bufan happened to run into Lin Li, who was fetching water, in the hallway.
As they walked back together, Lin Li patted Zhou Baowei on the shoulder, wiping his hand on him at the same time, and asked with concern, "Baowei, is your Chu Yuxun still feeling unwell?"
"My Chu Yu..." Zhou Baowei repeated before realizing what he meant. Helplessly, he said, "Just say stomach if you mean stomach! Why call it Chu Yuxun?"
"Her name isn't Stomach. Her name is Chu Yuxun," Bai Bufan chimed in with a laugh.
Zhou Baowei: "..."
"Fine, stomach it is. So, are you feeling better?" Lin Li did not really care.
"Better... maybe? Sleeping helped a little, but only a little. I'm still genuinely uncomfortable right now. It'll probably take another day or two." Zhou Baowei sighed, shaking his head before nodding.
"I already put the medicine in your drawer. Remember to take it later." Lin Li patted him again.
"Huh? What medicine? Stomach medicine?" Zhou Baowei asked in confusion.
"Yeah. I specifically bought some for you." Lin Li nodded casually.
"You went out to buy it at noon?"
"Mm."
"Holy shit? You're being so human. How much was it? I'll give you the money later."
Zhou Baowei raised a brow, as though he were getting to know Lin Li all over again. He did not refuse the kindness, merely asked about the price.
"I'm rich, bro. I stopped caring about the few lousy coins in your pocket ages ago. Besides, I bought it without asking if you wanted it, so naturally I'm not charging you." Lin
