Qi Lin was very angry—the kind that couldn't be coaxed away.
Seeing this, Xu Yi personally brewed her a cup of tea.
"Have some tea. Getting angry can mess up your hormones, and it's bad for your skin, Qi Lin," Xu Yi said.
"Your hormones are messed up."
Qi Lin sat on the sofa and shot Xu Yi a beautiful glare.
"Still angry?" Xu Yi asked.
"I'm not angry. Why would I be angry?" Qi Lin said, speaking much faster.
"It really wasn't anything. Ah Li is a decent girl," Xu Yi said.
"A decent girl comes over in the middle of the night to dance for you, and acts that seductively?" Qi Lin said. As a girl herself, Qi Lin could feel the astonishing allure radiating from Ah Li. That kind of allure was extremely lethal to men.
"She really is decent, Qi Lin. Don't judge people by appearances," Xu Yi said seriously.
"I judge people by appearances?" Qi Lin looked at Xu Yi, unable to suppress the little emotions in her eyes. She wanted to stab someone.
"But putting that aside, Qi Lin, I'm really happy you came. You should've told me so I could pick you up," Xu Yi said, quickly changing the subject.
"I just came to take a look. I have somewhere to stay," Qi Lin said.
"You found a place already?" Xu Yi asked.
Qi Lin was a little thirsty, so she took a sip of tea before saying, "It was a coincidence. I met a girl looking for a roommate. She's amazing—the citywide kendo champion. She's from Tianhe City too, and we went to the same high school, so we're alumni. I'm one year ahead of her."
"Nice. That's a serious sense of security," Xu Yi said.
"Alright, enough chatting. I'm going back. Next time I come over, don't let me see you bringing girls home again," Qi Lin said.
"...Fine. I'll give you a ride," Xu Yi said.
"..."
Qi Lin did not refuse.
Afterward, Xu Yi drove Qi Lin back to her rental apartment and also met the roommate she had mentioned—the citywide kendo champion.
The girl was named Li Feifei. She looked rather quiet. After exchanging greetings, she left.
On the way back, Xu Yi spotted a monkey blocking the road.
Xu Yi stopped the car, rolled down the window, and said, "Monkey, what do you want?"
"Get out, kid. Old Sun doesn't want to smash your car," Sun Wukong said.
"Monkey, have you ever heard of a mountain that fell from the sky?" Xu Yi said.
"What?" Sun Wukong asked in confusion.
Xu Yi extended his hand out the window. His five fingers stood out clearly in the night, glowing with a jade-like luster.
With a forward push of his palm, his five fingers unleashed a golden palm imprint that blasted Sun Wukong straight into the forests outside the city.
As he fell, the golden light of the palm imprint transformed into a Five Finger Mountain that came crashing down.
Boom! A thunderous roar echoed through the night.
Xu Yi did not even glance back as he drove away.
In the mountain forest, Sun Wukong lay pinned beneath the mountain, utterly dumbfounded. He muttered, "This is Five Finger Mountain?"
"Journey to the West?"
"That can't be right. Isn't that mythology?"
Sun Wukong merely shared a name with the Great Sage Equal to Heaven from Journey to the West. He was not the real Great Sage Equal to Heaven from that story.
He had never experienced the events of Journey to the West either.
Yet today, he had actually been crushed beneath a mountain! "How can a mere mountain suppress Old Sun?"
Though this was not Journey to the West, every Sun Wukong possessed an unyielding will.
Sun Wukong activated and enhanced his Dark Energy, gathering all of it together as he tried to shatter the mountain above him.
But no matter how hard he struggled, the mountain did not budge.
After a long while, Sun Wukong's expression shifted from dumbfoundedness to questioning his entire monkey life.
Who had he offended? He had only blocked the road. It wasn't as if he had gone too far.
And now he was pinned beneath a mountain?
Sun Wukong pulled out his phone and called Du Kao. "Old Du, Old Du! Old Sun is in trouble. Hurry up and come help!"
"?" Du Kao.
When Du Kao arrived at the forest outside Juxia City with A Jie, Lian Feng, and Qiang Wei, they were all stunned by the sight before them.
"Wukong, you really got pinned beneath a mountain?" Du Kao said.
He had assumed Sun Wukong was exaggerating or joking. Who could have imagined it was true?
A Jie pulled out his phone and took a photo with Sun Wukong.
"..." Sun Wukong.
"Wukong, you possess the Divine River Version's Third Generation Peak Beast Body. Your Dark Energy is not even inferior to that of a Main God Level being. Even if you're pinned beneath a mountain, you should be able to push it aside," Lian Feng said.
"If I could push it away, this old Sun would have done so already," Sun Wukong said helplessly.
"In Journey to the West, Great Sage Equal to Heaven Sun Wukong was suppressed beneath Five Finger Mountain by Tathagata Buddha. Five Finger Mountain had a Buddhist Mantra attached to it; no matter how powerful Sun Wukong was, he could not break free. Could it be that a Tathagata Buddha has appeared in our world?" Qiangwei said.
"What Tathagata Buddha? It was just a human. You all know him too," Sun Wukong sighed, recounting the whole sequence of events.
After hearing it, Qiangwei wore an expression of realization.
If it was Xu Yi, then there was no major issue. After all, he was the man who pierced the Sky Dome.
"When did Dragon Country produce such an awesome figure?" A Jie said.
"Great Sage, are you saying that someone called Xu Yi did this?" Lian Feng said, sharply inhaling as her chest rose and fell.
"I knew he was no ordinary person," Du Kao said slowly.
After all, Xu Yi had continually appeared in their sight throughout these incidents. It was impossible not to notice him.
"Enough of that. Hurry up and get this old Sun out," Sun Wukong said.
"Wukong, if even you cannot push this mountain aside, there is nothing we can do either," Du Kao said.
"General, I think we can use a nuclear bomb. A nuclear bomb should be able to blow it apart," A Jie suggested.
"Jess, are you stupid? This is near Juxia City, and you want to use a nuclear bomb?" Lian Feng said irritably, feeling as though A Jie had water in his brain.
"But we have a humanoid nuclear bomb—the Sun Goddess Leina. She should be able to precisely control solar energy," A Jie said.
"Don't beg the people of Lieyang Star. This old Sun would rather stay pinned beneath this mountain," Sun Wukong said, seemingly still harboring deep resentment toward Lieyang.
"Wukong, now is not the time to throw a tantrum. Getting you out is what matters most," Du Kao said.
"No. This old Sun simply refuses to yield to Lieyang," Sun Wukong said.
"How about I go find Xu Yi and discuss it with him?" Qiangwei said.
"Qiangwei, you know Xu Yi?" Du Kao asked.
"I do. Actually, I knew long ago that he was extraordinary," Qiangwei said.
"Then why didn't you tell us sooner?" Du Kao's gaze turned stern.
"Don't you know now? He is a mysterious being who can effortlessly crush a third-generation god. Even if you had known, what did you plan to do?" Du Qiangwei said.
"This..." Du Kao was left speechless.
That was right. With their strength and methods, how could they possibly restrain someone capable of crushing Sun Wukong?
Back then, Sun Wukong had single-handedly defeated Lieyang's Heavenly Dao Fleet, slaughtering them until only Pan Zhen remained as a lone commander.
"Remember, do not anger him. Everything can be discussed. And you should watch your safety as well," Du Kao said.
"Qiangwei, how about I go with you?" Lian Feng said.
"No need, Auntie Lian Feng. I can handle it myself," Qiangwei said.
"Lian Feng, go inform Leina. Hopefully, she can help as well," Du Kao said.
"Alright." Lian Feng nodded.
Sun Wukong hung his head, holding a tree branch and drawing circles on the ground.
