Yesterday's Forest.
The entire forest was a garden, and as one of the greatest ancient Tomb Secret Realms between heaven and earth, the Ember Shells everywhere were undergoing logical cycles, day after day, recreating yesterday.
Thus, it was called Yesterday's Forest.
"Mother, Mother, the sea has disappeared." A little girl in a floral dress came running over.
"Shh, keep your voice down." A Beautiful Woman was arranging the scarlet flowers scattered across the ground. Behind her, a white-robed man was leisurely drawing talismans in the study.
The little girl crouched down and fiddled with a little red flower, grumbling, "The flowers have grown up again. When will I finally grow up? Seven, eight, nine hundred, a thousand, ten thousand years have already passed?"
The girl counted with a vacant, adorable expression, but before long, she had forgotten what she was counting.
"Once you grow up, you won't be cute anymore." The woman rubbed the child's head and laughed. "Mommy likes little children. Once they grow up, they become super naughty. It's best to raise them as adorable little pets."
"I'm not a pet!" the girl shouted angrily. "I want to grow up! I want to grow up!"
"It isn't time for you to grow up yet." The woman was clearly half-awakened, but her daughter had yet to awaken, and neither was it time for her to do so.
It would be best for her daughter to revive only once she possessed enough power to overturn the world and look down upon all living beings.
Who could blame her, when her husband was "cautious" to the extreme?
Even if there were only a one-percent chance that something might go wrong, he was unwilling to let their daughter grow up, choosing to preserve her forever in this most adorable moment.
