From June of the year before last until now, I had been writing this book for nearly two years.

As it came to an end, the book's average subscription count was 1,100, and its twenty-four-hour follow-up subscriptions were close to 200. To me, that was already a pretty good result.

Especially those 200 readers who kept following it—I don't know when you started, but being able to stick with it for two years was really not easy. Aside from a brief period of explosive updates, I basically only wrote 4,000 words at a time.

As for updates, I want to make changes with the new book. Once it goes VIP, my requirement for myself will be a minimum of 6,000 words a day, with 8,000 as the goal. If I can reach 10,000, that would be best. That way, in about a year of updates, I can complete a book of around three million words.

Regarding the plot, based on my own reflections and some readers' suggestions, there were places that should have been written in greater detail and depth but were not handled well. Meanwhile, some parts that should have been brushed over in a single stroke were instead padded out too much.

As for the characters, I was pursuing greater realism at the time, and as I wrote, I ended up writing people to death. Looking back now, that needs improvement. Web novels are entertainment for everyone after studying or working; what they pursue is ease and cheerfulness. If I insist too much on realism, then without coincidence, there would be no story. Even something with only a one-in-ten-million chance of happening can still be a kind of realism.
