After forcefully knocking Vegeta back, Son Goku refused to let up. He surged forward again, pressing his advantage.
Vegeta, flying backward, executed a flawless backflip that completely neutralized the lingering force on his body. His feet hit the ground, and he launched himself forward with the momentum, colliding with Son Goku once more.
This fated showdown had begun anew.
The battle was fiercer than ever. Lightning of boundless destructive power had shrouded everything within a dozen miles. Anyone too weak who came even slightly close could be blasted to pieces by those overwhelmingly destructive bolts.
The earth split apart, and the air pressure shifted. Huge boulders tore free from the ground, hovered in midair for a moment, then exploded with a roar, turning into grit and dust.

Veins bulged on their foreheads, and every muscle in their bodies was taut. Both looked as though they were giving it everything they had.
As their power erupted, their auras turned into raging torrents that swept in every direction, tearing apart the earth and warping space, as though they were about to shatter reality itself.
"Is this all you've got? I remember you can use Kaio-ken. Use it already, Kakarot!!" Vegeta grinned and taunted Son Goku.
Back in that battle, he had lost to Son Goku's Kaio-ken. Now that their strength was evenly matched, Kaio-ken was the key to turning the tide.
If Son Goku used Kaio-ken, he would surely be no match for him. But what Vegeta needed was immense pressure and external stimulation. If Son Goku used Kaio-ken, it would greatly help him break through to Super Saiyan 3.
"Kaio-ken? I didn't expect you to
