"Simply operating my protective force field had let me carve through everything like a hot knife through butter. There had been no resistance at all." Lu Sheng's expression remained calm, but he felt ever more deeply just how powerful the level he now stood at was.

Boom! He raised his hand again. In truth, he did not need to exert any force at all. Merely extending the naturally protective energy field around his body effortlessly annihilated every living creature it touched.

Another large group of lizard-tailed monsters clad in heavy black armor exploded before him into countless scraps of flesh, scattering across the ground.

Beep! Beep! Beep! Piercing alarms echoed continuously through the space. Lu Sheng did not stop as he headed straight for the Core Area.

"Retreat! Retreat!"

"They're here!"

"How many are there!?"

"Only two!?"

"Two!!?"

A series of intermittent shouts faintly carried through the walls of flesh.

Lu Sheng glanced around and was about to move forward when a wall of flesh suddenly crashed down before him.

Bang! The fleshy wall wriggled, trying to block his path.

Boom!!

Lu Sheng pointed with one finger, and another invisible force field abruptly erupted. The wall of flesh before him instantly exploded, revealing a broad passage behind it.

The sides of the passage were lined with ragged crimson flesh like open wounds. At its end stood several towering, triangle-headed monsters, their blood-red eyes fixed upon him.

"Release your instincts!!" The monsters roared as their bodies swelled. In the blink of an eye, they transformed from figures just over a meter tall into dinosaur-like monsters more than three meters high and over two meters wide.

"Kill!!"

Two monsters charged forward. Layer upon layer of countless colored lights shimmered around them, and within those lights, triangular sigils representing divine weapons flashed faintly.
