He became associated with the Red Whale Gang and rose to become its Gang Leader. Though others repeatedly assumed his abnormal growth came from an Influential Family bloodline or a fortuitous inheritance, Lu Sheng concealed the role of Deep Blue, even claiming that a scarlet fruit had increased his Inner Qi when Hong Mingzi questioned him 68.
