Lu Sheng walked slowly through the small town at the foot of Leaf Mountain Sword Sect.
Beside him stood a private school for young children, from within which came waves of pleasant, childish recitation.

He Chu Xiang was much more conservatively dressed, wearing only a plain light-blue long skirt as she curiously stared at Lu Sheng as well.
"I went around to some other places. Being alone was actually quite carefree," Lu Sheng replied with a smile.
"After Supreme Elder Song Xinru drove off Wang Houzhong last time, I heard that you were seriously injured, then ambushed Senior Brother Guan Xiunian, the chief disciple, and finally escaped amid the chaos. That isn't true, right?" He Chu Xiang spoke quickly, but the urgency hidden in her voice still stirred Lu Sheng slightly.
