"Are you insane?! Run!"
A hand suddenly shot out from the side, grabbed Crimson, and dragged her into an open spatial vortex nearby.
Crimson immediately came to her senses and shook free of the hand.
"Let go! I can walk by myself!" She turned her head and saw that the one dragging her away was Platinum.
"What are you afraid of? It's not like I can die anyway."
"The Eye of Sin is gone. Do you think you can still survive?" Platinum snapped irritably.
"Ah?!" Crimson froze.
Remembering the white light that had nearly come crashing down like the sky itself, a chill ran through her heart.
It was not that they Gods of Destruction could not die. Rather, so long as the Eye of Sin remained intact, they could hide within it and live forever.
In other words, the Eye of Sin was their defensive value. Only by breaking through its defenses could someone possibly kill them completely.
But if the Eye of Sin was completely gone... The two passed through the blue vortex and rushed out the other end.
Outside the vortex was an enormous helipad filled with parked helicopters. Heavy combat helicopters continuously took off and landed, while ground personnel on the airfield waved signal flags without pause.
"Where is this?" Crimson hurriedly looked at Platinum beside her.
To her surprise, Platinum wore an equally bewildered expression.
"I clearly set the destination as my own home...!?" Platinum looked utterly unable to comprehend it.
"This way, please. Although the Divine Master forgot you there, as subordinates, it is only natural for us to receive guests and make up for our master's oversight."
