Lin Huandao and two Great Demons prepared to ambush the schools traveling from Heavenly Lotus School, while Lu Sheng continued cultivating on the road to White Bell City. After a distant explosion, the travelers discovered that Eastern Excellence School had been almost completely wiped out.

• Liu Shanzi arranged for Lu Sheng and Lotus Fragrance Zi to travel with the first group of schools in carriages provided by Jade Echo Gate.

Lu Sheng sensed an unseen presence at the Yuan Devil Sect but did not learn that the black-clothed man planned for both sealed Devils to awaken on the Moon-Seeking Day three months later.
