Ch. 702Spells I

A Seven-Colored Dragon hatchling named De Lin Anka was born into a declining clan that hoped to regain the favor of its gods. After learning about the clan’s hardships and the dangers of magic power, Lu Sheng planned to grow quietly and explore the ancient world for sources of God-Entrusting Power.

  • Dragon Queen Ilene told the Seven-Colored Dragons that four eggs had hatched and vowed to raise the newborns herself.
  • Lu Sheng broke out of his egg, sensed the hatchling’s wish to revive the clan, and chose the name De Lin Anka.
  • Ilene welcomed De Lin Anka as her adoptive son and placed him and the other three hatchlings in Enlightenment Magic Liquid.
  • Lu Sheng recognized that the liquid’s magic power increased arcane talent while permanently weakening the body, and he chose not to use the Thousand Gods Art to resist it.
  • Lu Sheng decided to grow and study without revealing his unusual abilities, while seeking ancient objects that could contain God-Entrusting Power.

Ch. 703Spells II

Lu Sheng and the other young Seven-Colored Dragons learned to live independently before Ke Bo Yi began teaching them about the world and elemental magic. Five years later, Lu Sheng devoted himself to studying spells in the Book Collection Cave while the other young dragons chose to play outside.

  • The four young dragons trained in demon liquid, hardened their skin in Crystal Sand, and learned to hunt and prepare food under the Dragon Queen's guidance.
  • Ke Bo Yi began teaching the young dragons World Studies, explaining the Prime Material Plane and the surrounding realms.
  • Over five years, the young dragons grew and learned elemental refinement and the basics of professional ranks and spellcasting from Ke Bo Yi.
  • Lu Sheng recognized that the spell rules resembled a system he remembered from Earth and pressed Ke Bo Yi to teach him more about casting spells.
  • After Ke Bo Yi allowed the young dragons into the Book Collection Cave, Lu Sheng studied spellcasting materials from Level One to Level Nine while the other three dragons went outside to play.

Ch. 704Bitter Cultivation I

Lu Sheng concealed his extraordinary magical progress while studying Dragon Language Magic among the young dragons. During a practical lesson, he impressed Instructor Tia with his rapid casting and asked to visit her antique collection cave, leaving the other young dragons to attempt the golem challenge.

  • Lu Sheng advanced to Level 2 Mage within five years and studied the Dragon Language Array while hiding his true abilities from the elders.
  • Sally summoned Lu Sheng to Instructor Tia’s shaping course, where Tia led the four young dragons to meet four Silver Grade War Golems.
  • Tia instructed the young dragons to charge a golem using only fire-element Dragon Language Magic, and Lu Sheng recognized the rune array powering it.
  • Lu Sheng instantly cast Dragon Fire three times, impressing the other young dragons and surprising Tia with his steady casting.
  • Lu Sheng asked to visit Tia’s collection cave, and she agreed if he activated a golem; Lu Sheng accepted the challenge, while An Sai Fei, Bo Ge, and Sally each cast only an Illumination Art.

Ch. 705Bitter Cultivation II

Lu Sheng investigated the limits of spellcasting and used Deep Blue to transform Dragon Fire Art into a stored-energy technique that bypassed the Magic Net and local elemental shortages. Meanwhile, Red Dragon Jerryl and a band of Black-Clothed Men attacked the Seven-Colored Dragons’ territory, and the men captured An Sai Fei, Sally, and Bo Ge as Lu Sheng remained in his cave.

  • After five days of charging the magic puppet, Lu Sheng received Tia’s spellbook and began studying how to build his own spellcasting system.
  • Lu Sheng found that casting spells depleted the surrounding fire elements and worried that both elemental shortages and the gods behind the Magic Net would restrict him.
  • Lu Sheng activated Deep Blue, cast Dragon Fire Art without connecting to the Magic Net, and spent God-Entrusting Power to perfect the spell.
  • A group of Black-Clothed Men coordinated with Red Dragon Jerryl to exploit the Seven-Colored Dragons’ absence and raid their nesting grounds.
  • The Black-Clothed Men subdued An Sai Fei, Sally, and Bo Ge with sleeping incense and carried them away toward another young dragon’s cave.
  • Lu Sheng discovered that his perfected Dragon Fire Art had created a fleshy lump in his chest that stored a vast reserve of fire elemental energy.

Ch. 706Independence I

Lu Sheng survived an attack by a Black-Winged Man, concealed what had happened, and spent the following years secretly improving his magic until he reached Level 6. As the Seven-Colored Dragons faced renewed threats from Flower Ring, Lu Sheng resolved to protect their survival while keeping his strength hidden, and Sally called to him as the clan prepared to move.

  • Pan Di tried to capture Lu Sheng with Bewildering Incense, but Lu Sheng resisted and killed him with a barrage of Dragon Fire Arts.
  • Dragon Queen Ilene checked on Lu Sheng after attackers targeted the young dragons, and Lu Sheng denied encountering anyone while the dragons captured the other attackers.
  • After the incident, An Sai Fei and Bo Ge trained with the Dragon Hunting Team, Sally studied wind spells with Tia, and Lu Sheng privately improved his spellcasting method.
  • Three years later, Lu Sheng reached Level 6 and became a Great Wizard as Flower Ring pursued the Seven-Colored Dragons, forcing the clan to migrate again.
  • Lu Sheng considered how to fulfill his karmic duty by ensuring the Seven-Colored Dragons survived, and Sally called to him while he prepared to leave.

Ch. 707Independence II

Lu Sheng and the Seven-Colored Dragons migrated toward the Blue Moon Sea, where the demigod Sha Ding attacked and swallowed two dragons. Separated from the flock with Sally, Lu Sheng landed on the shore and decided to use his past experience transforming wild creatures to build a stable territory and a Mage Tower.

  • Lu Sheng watched the adult dragons use powerful spatial arcane arts and discussed his magical progress with Tia while the flock prepared to migrate.
  • The Seven-Colored Dragons flew across the ocean toward the Blue Moon Sea, and Lu Sheng slept while maintaining magical threads connected to dragons ahead of him.
  • Sha Ding struck the flock with a lightning attack, then swallowed Jack and Diana as the other dragons fled.
  • The flock discovered that Lu Sheng and Sally were missing, and Tia and An Sai Fei grieved for them.
  • Five hours later, Lu Sheng landed on an abandoned lighthouse and planned to gather resources and establish a secure territory for building a Mage Tower.
  • Lu Sheng saw a gray rabbit below the lighthouse and resolved to draw on his past experience transforming wild creatures.

Ch. 708The Bigger Picture I

Lu Sheng established a concealed lair near Dawn City, created beastmen to manage trade, and advanced to a seventh-level mage while studying his spells. Meanwhile, a group of elves and Director Qiong Lin tracked him down to capture a young Seven-Colored Dragon, as Lu Sheng continued his work unaware of the approaching threat.

  • Lu Sheng found the city of Dawn City and used earth elementals to build a hidden underground lair, then filled its surroundings with spell traps and a Mist Rune Array.
  • After years of experiments, Lu Sheng created intelligent rabbitfolk, catfolk, and bearfolk, trained them as representatives, and had captured merchants teach them and him the human language.
  • Lu Sheng resumed practicing spells, sold scrolls and antique weapons to fund his plans, and settled near Dawn City while concealing his dragon form with illusions.
  • Two elven mages and Director Qiong Lin followed traces of a Seven-Colored Dragon along the coast and set out to capture Lu Sheng to fulfill their mission.
  • Lu Sheng reached the seventh-level mage rank and focused on deeply studying his existing spells and using Deep Blue to deduce their models.

Ch. 709The Bigger Picture II (Thanks to Brother Dawei for the Generous Alliance Master Reward)

Lu Sheng reflected on the limits of gathering God-Entrusting Power from human society and ordered Di Fanla to bring nearby Lizardman tribes to him for transformation. When a golden-haired Flower Ring warrior broke into his cave, Lu Sheng defeated her with a single kick and revealed that he had once been called Fist Emperor Demon Shadow.

  • Lu Sheng concluded that he needed to seek God-Entrusting Power from the gods or the Ancient Beast race and ordered Di Fanla to bring nearby Lizardman tribes to him.
  • A golden-haired Flower Ring woman and two elven mages broke through Lu Sheng’s arcane traps and entered his cave.
  • Lu Sheng attacked the woman with golden fire and lightning, but she pushed through his spells and swung her greatsword at him.
  • Lu Sheng dodged beneath the sword and struck the woman with his Instant Destruction Fist Art, sending her crashing through the cave wall.
  • Lu Sheng offered the injured woman greater power if she joined him, then identified himself as Fist Emperor Demon Shadow.

Ch. 710Gold I

Lu Sheng subdued Qiong Lin and two elven mages, then built Demon Shadow into a powerful organization while advancing to Level 10 Mage. Years later, he visited a café in Level Water City and noticed its owner calming a couple after a loud argument.

  • Lu Sheng implanted pieces of his true body's flesh in Qiong Lin and two elven mages, healing and bringing them under his control.
  • Lu Sheng formed a Lizardman legion, recruited high-level mages, and established Demon Shadow, which expanded across more than half a province.
  • Qiong Lin grew Demon Shadow's influence and founded the Sand Shadow marketplace after Lu Sheng rewarded her with Soul-Stirring Silk.
  • At thirty, Lu Sheng reached Level 10 Mage, began advancing toward Level 11, and started building his Mage Tower.
  • Lu Sheng drank coffee in Level Water City and watched a white-haired man and a golden-haired woman argue before the café owner calmed the situation.

Ch. 711Golden II

Lu Sheng adopted an abandoned infant, who grew up as Lu Hongye, his daughter. At fifteen, Lu Hongye learned she was the last princess of the Gold Dragon Clan, but her father’s demand that she practice the harp interrupted the revelation.

  • Lu Sheng found an abandoned infant hidden beside his villa gate and adopted her as his daughter.
  • Fifteen years later, Lu Hongye introduced herself at Gerna Academy and returned home to her father, Lu Sheng.
  • A golden lizard and a masked woman appeared in Lu Hongye’s wardrobe and identified her as Shahr, the youngest princess of the Gold Dragon Clan.
  • The woman explained that Lu Hongye’s royal bloodline was needed to open the inheritance and save the threatened clan.
  • Lu Sheng shouted at Lu Hongye to begin her harp practice, cutting short her conversation with the visitors.

Ch. 712Planning I

Lu Hongye secretly prepared to leave with the golden lizard and masked woman, while Lu Sheng dealt with intruders and watched his daughter’s growing involvement with the Dragon King bloodline. The chapter ended with Lu Sheng asking Qiong Lin whether he could face an Ancient Gold Dragon.

  • Lu Sheng killed the intruders’ threat, punished Rebecca for neglecting security, and ordered Ella to take over her watch.
  • Lu Sheng warned Hank not to let Lu Hongye see his bloodthirsty behavior after Hank admitted devouring the attackers’ eyes.
  • Lu Hongye packed to meet the Dragon King royal family’s old subordinates, and Hank let her leave without telling Lu Sheng.
  • Lu Hongye continued training with the golden lizard, strengthening her Gold Dragon King bloodline while keeping her activities from her father.
  • Lu Sheng watched Lu Hongye study among the Flower Sprites and told Qiong Lin that her early exposure to these affairs would serve as training.
  • Qiong Lin warned that the Gold Dragons might use Lu Hongye as a target, and Lu Sheng asked whether he could face an Ancient Gold Dragon.

Ch. 713Planning II

Lu Sheng considered how to expand his strength, learned that Gold Dragons were watching Princess Shahr, and replenished the soul of an enchanted painting for clues to the Abyss. He prepared a reverse summoning ritual to lure another Abyss Lord, hoping to gain divinity without drawing the Abyss’s attention.

  • Lu Sheng told Qiong Lin to report updates about demigod Sha Ding’s journey toward Seven-Colored Dragon Island.
  • Nanni told a Gold Dragon that Lu Sheng belonged to Demon Shadow and carried the aura of a Seven-Colored Dragon, but the Gold Dragon ordered secret protection for Princess Shahr rather than confrontation.
  • Lu Sheng replenished the oil painting’s virtual soul, but it repeated the cryptic clue to an entrance: “within the apple where the swing and the full moon strike three times.”
  • Lu Sheng recalled that the Abyss Consciousness had driven him out during his previous reverse summoning and resolved to avoid provoking it with his true body.
  • Lu Sheng arranged offerings and sealing arrays for another reverse summoning, hoping to defeat an Abyss Lord and obtain more divinity.

Ch. 714Half-Divine Artifact I

Lu Hongye nearly accepted the Gold Dragon Royal Family’s inheritance through the Bracelet of Sorrow, but Lu Sheng interrupted and beat her for neglecting her studies. After warning his Abyss Lord subordinate to watch over the bracelet’s guardians, Lu Sheng traveled toward the outskirts of Dawn City to pursue the church’s half-divine Dawn Sword.

  • Nanni presented Lu Hongye with the Bracelet of Sorrow and asked whether she would inherit the Gold Dragon Royal Family.
  • Lu Sheng burst into Lu Hongye’s bedroom after hearing about her poor midterm score, dragged her out, and beat and scolded her; a boulder knocked Nanni unconscious when she tried to return.
  • Misu revived Nanni, and Nanni and Misu decided to report Lu Sheng’s interference rather than approach Lu Hongye again immediately.
  • Lu Hongye told Misu she knew her father loved her, then returned to her homework after Lu Sheng left for his shop.
  • Lu Sheng explained that the bracelet’s Dragon King divine souls could erode Lu Hongye’s soul and ordered Weisidun to watch the group, threatening to devour them if they tried again.
  • Lu Sheng headed east from Dawn City to obtain the Dawn Sword, a half-divine artifact the Dawn Church had brought to the city.

Ch. 715Demi-Artifact II

Lu Sheng attended the Dawn Sword exhibition intending to stage a robbery and absorb the demi-artifact’s God-Entrusting Power. When Lu Hongye and Misu were cornered by Andre Phillipsgaard, Lu Sheng held back after Chris intervened and then floated toward the sword.

  • Lu Sheng entered the exhibition with Professor Ge Lin, assessed its guards, and decided to fake a robbery to touch the Dawn Sword.
  • Lu Sheng returned each day during the five-day exhibition and planned to act after the final day’s prayers.
  • Misu brought Lu Hongye to see the Dawn Sword, while Andre Phillipsgaard approached and recognized Lu Hongye as Shahr.
  • Misu fled with Lu Hongye through the mist as Church Guards closed in, but Andre pursued them and reached toward them.
  • Chris appeared and challenged Andre, who said he only wanted to see the future Gold Dragon Dragon Queen and had no ill intent.
  • Lu Sheng lowered his raised hand, withdrew his arcane energy, and floated toward the Dawn Sword.

Ch. 716Smell of Gunpowder I

Lu Sheng stole the Dawn Sword and its God-Entrusting Power, then traveled to the Land of Curses to remove the Unfixed Church Master's lingering control over him. After a Godspawn attacked him there, Lu Sheng captured it and considered recruiting it to help perfect his arcane system.

  • The Unfixed Church Master sent Lu Sheng a warning about their hundred-year agreement, but Lu Sheng took the Dawn Sword and absorbed the God-Entrusting Power.
  • Lu Sheng left Dawn City without using a teleportation gate and went to the Land of Curses to obstruct the Church Master's influence.
  • Lu Sheng dug into the plain, where a Godspawn named Aini Feiersi attacked him from below.
  • Lu Sheng captured Aini Feiersi and offered to give him greater power in exchange for working together.

Ch. 717Smoke of War II

Lu Sheng learned that Sha Ding was hunting the Seven-Colored Dragon Clan and was preparing to help, but the clan’s location remained unknown. Two injured hatchlings, Bo Ge and Sally, arrived at Dawn City with Tia, reuniting with Lu Sheng, who promised to help Tia and ordered his agents to investigate her.

  • Lu Sheng found another Godspawn named Du Ma beneath the Land of Curses and confronted it while holding Aini.
  • Sha Ding declared the extermination of the Seven-Colored Dragon Clan after they killed his son, forcing the clan to flee and leaving them without allies.
  • Lu Sheng received word that two distant visitors had been found and left Aini in charge of the Black Stone Project.
  • Lu Sheng found Bo Ge and Sally wounded in a cave near Dawn City, while Tia guarded them and initially mistook him for a threat.
  • Bo Ge and Sally recognized Lu Sheng and wept as they reunited with him, while Tia left to pursue her own goal.
  • Lu Sheng promised to help Tia if she needed it and ordered his agents to investigate her and assist her if she encountered trouble.

Ch. 718Behind the Scenes I

Lu Sheng learned how Tia had protected the two young Seven-Colored Dragons and sent help to support her revenge against the Ice Blue Church. As Tia destroyed church strongholds, Lu Sheng received an urgent report and decided Bavitan might need reinforcements.

  • Lu Sheng read Tia’s history, learned she had escorted the young dragons, and arranged for his people to help her while postponing his own trip to watch Lu Hongye’s training.
  • Tia traveled toward the Ice Blue Church Nation, left her cart near the Holy City, and began attacking the church’s sacrificial strongholds.
  • Tia destroyed seven strongholds without drawing the church’s expected response, while Bavitan and his allies slaughtered the Paladin Knight Order in Kelo Canyon.
  • Lu Sheng told his subordinates to protect Tia more actively, even if that brought them into conflict with the Ice Blue Church.
  • Lu Sheng received an urgent report about Tia, judged Bavitan might not be enough, and asked his people who wanted to join the trip.

Ch. 719Backing II

Tia killed the Ice Blue Church’s only Holy Son and fled, only to confront Fei Li Man, the adjudicator tied to her clan’s destruction. As the battle escalated, Kan Si Di Bo Er stopped Lei Sa from intervening, while Lu Sheng watched from Dawn City and welcomed the prospect of more powerful opponents.

  • Tia beheaded Kang Si Da Na · Ao Xiu, the Ice Blue Church’s only Holy Son, after recalling how the Church had massacred her clan.
  • Tia escaped an ambush by a Holy Warrior, then recognized Fei Li Man and attacked him in a frenzy of hatred.
  • Bavitan fought Holy Barbarian Anpunosi until Judge bound Bavitan with golden chains.
  • Tia wounded Fei Li Man with a transformed claw, while a summoned golden scythe shattered before it could strike her.
  • Lei Sa emerged through a space rift to aid Fei Li Man, but Kan Si Di Bo Er intercepted him and persuaded him not to escalate the conflict.
  • Lu Sheng watched from Dawn City and invited the Church to send more avatars and incarnations.

Ch. 720Summoning I

La Er sent an avatar of God of Trembling Pei Jia toward the primary plane after learning that someone had interfered with the Church Nation’s punishment, while Lu Sheng waited and reviewed intelligence on the Seven-Colored Dragons. Tia killed Fei Li Man and escaped with help from a mysterious blood-red man, whom she suspected was the elder brother of the two dragons she had rescued.

  • La Er decided that an avatar should intervene in the primary plane, and God of Trembling Pei Jia agreed to go.
  • Lu Sheng detected no movement from the Extreme Winter God Nation and turned his attention to the Seven-Colored Dragon flock.
  • Tia defeated Fei Li Man after his divine descent failed, then killed him with the Void Blade.
  • Tia fled the forest and encountered a blood-red man who removed the hidden divine power mark from her body.
  • Tia suspected the man was the elder brother of the two Seven-Colored Dragons she had helped and hurried off to confirm it.

Ch. 721Summoning II

Lu Sheng summoned Mi Si Tuo Ka, a powerful Abyss Lord from the fifty-first layer, to test his strength and lure the demon through a portal. Mi Si Tuo Ka realized the summoning was suspicious, but the portal dragged him inside, leaving his fate unknown.

  • Lu Sheng reviewed reports of the vanished Seven-Colored Dragon clan and escalating wars, then decided to test his limits against a stronger Abyss Lord.
  • Lu Sheng prepared a summoning formation in his basement and summoned Mi Si Tuo Ka from the Abyss’s fifty-first layer.
  • Lu Sheng posed as Ao Mi Si, a Seven-Colored Dragon seeking help, and used the encounter to estimate his own strength against an intermediate god.
  • Mi Si Tuo Ka grew suspicious of the summoning and tried to avoid entering the portal, despite Lu Sheng’s pleas and the offered divinity.
  • The portal shifted toward Mi Si Tuo Ka and black arms seized him, pulling him through.
