Back in the real world, Hobart waited until two in the afternoon before Xue and Fors returned.
This time, they had thoroughly scouted the operation site. Xue even drew a sketch and explained her arrest plan.
The two heretics were staying in a dormitory building at the factory. Xue would attack them from the front entrance, while Hobart and Fors lay in ambush by the window.
If Xue's surprise attack failed, Hobart and Fors would smash the window and join the fight.
Since the enemy was weak and they were strong, there was no need for overly meticulous tactics. When the time came, Hobart would handle one Heretic alone, while Xue and Fors dealt with the other, ending the battle as quickly as possible.
Xue usually looked somewhat reckless, but when she got serious, she was quite capable. The plan was practical, and the precautions were enough to handle most unexpected situations.
She was just a little too short, so she didn't Look very imposing while explaining the plan.
In the end, Hobart added one more point: if the workers tried to stop them during their retreat, they could use his Inspector's identification to get away.
When Xue saw Hobart's identification, she sighed. "Where did you forge that? It looks so real."
Hobart did not expose the truth. He merely smiled. "I borrowed this identification from a friend."
Xue was immensely envious. If she had identification like that too, many things would be much easier.
As evening fell, the three of them had dinner and made their final preparations.
Just then, the doorbell suddenly rang.
"Who is it?" Hobart called loudly from the dining room.
No one answered.
"I'll Open Door!" Fors immediately rose to her feet to avoid washing the dishes.
But there was no one outside the door.
