Hobart finally understood why Jessica had been so fearless before. Whether facing Military Intelligence Section 9 or the Judgment Group, she had not feared exposing her residence.
It turned out the owner of the residence was willing and capable of providing them with a certain degree of security. Hobart did not know much about Alice's standing within the Royal Family, but her identity as a Princess was there for all to see. In many situations, she represented the dignity of the Royal Family, enough to prevent Military Intelligence Section 9 from daring to offend her.
Jessica said quietly, "You should change your appearance again. Although Princess Alice promised not to interfere in our private affairs, there are other servants here. It would not be good if they saw you."
After all, Hobart had killed a Prince not long ago. That had been Alice's younger brother.
Hobart changed back into the appearance he had used while riding in the carriage, then followed Jessica into the courtyard.
As they walked inside, Hobart asked, "How is the digestion of the Barbarian potion going?"
"Digestion? Hmm, that is quite an apt word." Jessica smiled. "During the legislative process for the Labor Law, I felt that the potion was being digested quite well. My condition has also remained very good."
Hobart nodded. What Jessica was doing was effectively challenging Backlund's existing order, so the potion had undergone a certain degree of digestion. "Once you feel that you have completely mastered the Barbarian potion, write to me. I have the Bribor potion recipe and its main ingredient."
Jessica agreed with a smile, opened the small door of the large warehouse before them, and invited Hobart inside.
This sizable warehouse was still divided into two sections. Upon entering, one could see the entire warehouse at a glance.
