Lafite bowed slightly in greeting. "Attendant of God!"
Hobart asked, "Have you made your preparations for departure?"
"I have." Lafite picked up two small leather suitcases.
Hobart nodded. "Where are you planning to go?"
"I plan to go to the Rosed Islands first," Lafite said. "Although it's a Loen colony, the local Official Extraordinary probably won't have the energy to hunt down a 'fugitive' like me."
They were already too busy dealing with pirates. Unless someone from the Royal Family knew Lafite's exact location, with the Order Crystal Mask concealing him, they would have no idea where he had gone.
Lafite continued, "After advancing to Corrupted Baron there, I'll head to the Southern Continent to develop."
Hobart nodded slightly. "If you run into any trouble there, you can write to me."
After all, he had used Lafite as cannon fodder several times. It was not easy for Lafite to have survived until now. As long as the request was not excessive, Hobart would lend him a hand.
Perhaps there would be another chance to use such a trump-card cannon fodder in the future.
Using travel, Hobart took Lafite through a transfer point and arrived in the suburbs of Bayam.
Hobart then returned to his territory and, at nine o'clock, received Dean, captain of the Nohal, in the main hall of the Lord's Manor.
After a few brief pleasantries, Hobart asked, "I heard from Corwin that you want to buy two shops in Jeffrey Town?"
Clutching his hat, Dean said, "Yes, honorable Lord. I actually wanted to invest in Jeffrey Town's construction projects, but my savings are only enough to invest in shops."
Hobart smiled. "I can point you toward a way to make money. For some time to come, building
