When Hobart had still been Sequence 6, he had had no way to effectively attack a Guardian. Yet after becoming Sequence 5 and gaining more methods of attack, he had wounded a Guardian so easily.
This had everything to do with Hobart's tactics. First, the surprise attack had already put Gale at a psychological disadvantage.
Then there was Hobart's concealment of his Mystical Items. Once he found an opportunity, he swiftly used Lightning Strike to draw Gale's attention and Underworld Gate to restrict Shier's movements.
After that, he attacked at the fastest speed possible, severely wounding Gale before the Judge and the two Sequence 7 Pyromaniac and Bribor could react.
After being tempered by all his previous battles, such tactics had almost naturally formed in his mind and been put into action.
Thus, even though Hobart had not fully regained his sanity, it did not affect his formulation or execution of tactics.
The first one shocked was Gale. He had never expected to be severely wounded just like that.
Gale naturally knew that the enemy before him was a Sequence 5. As a Sequence 5 of the Warrior pathway, he had never conceded defeat to anyone in combat. He had not been injured in years.
Of course, even though Hobart's blade had pierced Gale's heart, he would not die anytime soon.
Then the Judge and the others were shocked as well. He realized that rather than smashing through the wall to leave, they should join forces with the Vice Leader to eliminate the enemy before them. "The power of the Underworld is forbidden here!"
The Pyromaniac and Bribor, who had been stopping their subordinates from attacking each other, attacked Hobart together. One launched a Fireball, while the other kicked a piece of wood at Hobart to complete the Bribe process
