Kavetuva had fallen, yet occasionally responded to believers. The Hermit was looking at Mr. Fool. Audrey's eyes lit up as a guess involuntarily formed in her mind: Could it be that Mr. Fool was now the one responding to Kavetuva's believers? Did the Hermit know something, which was why she reacted like this? Alger had actually guessed as much. He had brought it up mainly to observe the Hermit's reaction.
There were rumors that the Star Admiral had close ties to the Moses Ascetic Order, and Laticia was a member of the Moses Ascetic Order. Alger had taken the opportunity to sound out the Hermit.
