Buck took another step back. It was the first time he had encountered such a question.

Buck seriously suspected that Hobart had used Extraordinary Power to hypnotize them or plant Psychological Suggestions in them, or perhaps simply destroyed their Spiritual Bodies and turned them into walking corpses that could only be loyal to Hobart.

Buck had seen people whose Spiritual Bodies had been corrupted by evil organizations. They were just as mad as the people outside, just as fearless of death.
Outside the door, Bishop Simpson loudly called out to everyone, "There's no need to worry. Nothing will happen to Hobart. Go home, everyone. You still have work tomorrow!"

After calming everyone and sending them home, Simpson returned to the church. Just as he was about to pray before the Saint Emblem of Life, he suddenly sensed something. He saw a black horse pass through the church window, yet the glass did not shatter, because the black horse was a Spirit World Creature.
Simpson stroked the black horse's mane as he removed the mail cylinder from its back. The black horse then vanished inside the church.
It was a messenger
