Back in the study, Hobart took the Psychological Spoon from the Country of Disorder, brought along the still-unconscious pirate, and arrived at a small unnamed island out at sea.
He first splashed seawater on the pirate to wake him, then used the Psychological Spoon to hypnotize him.
After Hobart left the uninhabited island, the pirate began setting up an altar and performing a ritual to receive a bestowal from the Creator.
Rather than returning to Jeffrey Territory, Hobart casually found a patch of wilderness in the Northern Continent. After confirming there was no danger nearby, he entered the Country of Disorder.
Sitting upon the Iron Throne, Hobart saw an unfamiliar star flickering in the pool. He extended his spirituality toward it and found that it was indeed the pirate.
Hobart then dragged Trensoost's phantom from the distant pool. It seemed to know what Hobart intended to do and gave him a contemptuous smile.
Hobart snorted coldly and threw it into the somewhat swaying Gate of Grace.

Hobart drew upon the power of the Country of Disorder and shoved it outward with all his might. He nearly crushed the phantom flat, but it was still useless. It remained stuck there and would not leave.
After trying for quite some time, Hobart had no choice but to give up. He sent Trensoost's phantom, which had already been slightly deformed from the pressure, back into the pool and sealed it away again.
This method wouldn't work! He had to think of another way, but for the moment, Hobart had no ideas.
After checking once more that the seal was secure, he decided to maintain the status quo for now and wait until he came
