Hobart was stirred with excitement. What he most hoped to obtain was precisely a clue to the Extraordinary Characteristics of the Duke of Entropy.

Then he sighed inwardly: Rex really trusted Christine! To Christine, this was a clue to Extraordinary Characteristics at Sequence 2 of an Adjacent Pathway.

Christine snorted and continued to Hobart, "There are two leads concerning the Extraordinary Characteristics of the Duke of Entropy. The first is with the Balk Family on the Southern Continent.

"Previously, I met members of the Balk Family in South Colson. You may have guessed already that this family is descended from the Trensoost Family that hid on the Southern Continent.

"According to Rex, this family possesses a Sealed Artifact that can respond to prayers to shatter Extraordinary Characteristics. It can also use the abilities of Distortion and Alteration to create a place spanning dozens of square kilometers, similar to a Mystic Realm.

"That is a Sealed Artifact at the Duke of Entropy level, though using it comes with quite a few restrictions.

"First, to shatter this Sealed Artifact and use its Extraordinary Characteristics, one must have the aid of an existence at the level of a deity.

"Second, the family's Curse must first be resolved before the Sealed Artifact can be obtained using the family insignia."

Hobart nodded. Of course, he remembered the Town of Nonexistence that allowed the Balk Family to survive and establish itself. From the beginning, he had sensed that it might be a Sealed Artifact of the Black Emperor pathway.

Christine added, "The second clue is on Longtail Island."
