Hobart was slightly taken aback when he heard Fors. Although he had not actively contacted Dorian, why did he always feel as though he had poached someone from The Fool?

After thinking for a moment, Hobart said, "You can invite Dorian to Longtail Island as a guest. I'll meet with him at the Governor's Office."

Fors nodded. "I'll send him an invitation."

Since Fors had just advanced and needed to stabilize her condition, Hobart chatted with her for a while before returning to Anrelu.

Early the next morning, Hobart got up early and began dressing in the attire of a Duke of the Loen Kingdom.

Today, he was meeting with the Native Kings and generals, and holding a grand banquet, so he had to be as proper as possible in terms of etiquette.

There were two Native Kings in the South Baylam Duchy, or rather, two local nobles supported by the Loen Empire. There were also two generals.

However, more than a dozen people had come to pay their respects to the Duke. To maintain a balance, the Loen Kingdom had also supported some smaller nobles and warlords.

This effectively prevented any one noble or warlord from completely controlling a region. It was also a warning to its proxies: I can replace you at any time.

They were all very excited about this audience. After all, this was a Duke from the strongest nation in the world, someone with immense influence in that country.

Before this, only two or three of them had ever met a Loen baron, and they had always greatly admired Loen's high-ranking nobles.

Furthermore, Hobart's choice of location for the capital made them breathe a sigh of relief. Since the Saint Norsay Basin had fertile land, the Loen Kingdom had not backed any nobles or warlords
