Anrelu City.
After school at Public Third Grammar School, Daisy walked home with a classmate, chatting and laughing. They only parted ways at the entrance to their residential neighborhood.
Once she was alone, Daisy unconsciously quickened her pace.
This was a habit she had developed after being kidnapped. Whenever she was alone, she would get to her destination as quickly as possible, taking main roads instead of alleys.
If she absolutely had to pass through an alley, she would observe it beforehand, then run through it.
If there were suspicious people in an alley, or small doors along it, she would rather cancel her plans than pass through such a place.
Daisy hurried to the door of her home and let out a slight sigh of relief.
She knew Anrelu City's public safety was quite good, but the habits she had formed earlier had already taken root.
After looking around and confirming no one was there, Daisy quickly opened the door and entered.
The first thing she saw upon entering was King Hobart, drinking tea in the living room.
He was dressed quite simply: an Atlantis-style shirt, a pair of trousers that looked to be of fine material, no top hat, and neatly styled hair that made him look spirited.
Daisy naturally knew that he was the one who had taken her sister away back then, though she later learned that the matter had not been as she had imagined.
And now, she also knew that he was the King of the Atlantis Kingdom.
That left Daisy somewhat at a loss, unsure whether she ought to immediately kneel and pay her respects.
Logically speaking, she should have needed to kneel, but her sister Freya had said more than once that there was no need to kneel in the Atlantis Kingdom.
