As a Dream Weaver, Audrey easily sent Hobart into the Dream World.
Given Hobart's current level, it would have been quite easy for him to enter the Dream World himself. He only needed to "distort" the state and thoughts of someone nearby, putting them instantly to sleep and making them dream, then use that person's dream to "jump into" the Dream World.
But in order to strengthen his humanity, Hobart was trying to interact more with those around him, especially the two Empresses, so he asked Audrey for help.
Audrey was delighted that she could help a High Sequence Hobart. This kind of feedback was Positive Feedback, and it also helped Hobart maintain his humanity.
After entering the bizarre and fantastical Dream World, Hobart called out loudly, "Fauvety!"
At that shout, many discordant and brightly colored places in the dream suddenly froze, then swiftly hid like mice that had spotted a cat.
Those places were hidden dangers within the Dream World. Some were unknown fears, some were manifestations of extraordinary distortion and madness in dreams, while others were projections of terrifying beings' spirits into the Dream World.
They generally would not actively affect other people's dreams, but if someone accidentally encountered them in a dream, they would usually have a nightmare. In rare cases, they could trigger disastrous consequences.
Hobart had merely shouted just now. He had not used any Extraordinary Ability.
These things fled only because Hobart's terrifying level had made these "dangerous parts of the dream" realize the danger, causing them to hide at once.
A second or two later, the dream before Hobart was covered in thick grass. Then, not far ahead, a Gothic hall rose from the ground. Fauvety's human form, a tall, thin middle-aged man, stood before the hall's entrance.
