Hu Wei and Zhang Songfu finished "renovating" Sea Ridge Shelter. They removed most of the rocks, leaving behind a cave of moderate size to serve as a house.
They moved everything into Sea Ridge Shelter. After arranging the beds, tables, and chairs inside the cave, they left a pile of furniture they did not plan to take in the canyon dwelling, then began their journey to move house.
Jiang Xiao clearly stated that the Portal leading to the road to the Upper Dimension was more than half a month away from the canyon dwelling. Thus, everyone stored a large amount of dried meat and water in Sea Ridge Shelter, made their mental preparations, and immediately set out.
The three crows transformed from Jiang Xiao, Hu Wei, and Zhang Songfu flew recklessly through the sky. Cang Lan stayed with Yuan Yuan, bringing the Bamboo Bear along as they patiently waited inside Sea Ridge Shelter.
After traveling with frequent stops for seventeen days, Jiang Xiao finally found the direction leading to the Upper Dimension. He led the two crows and plunged headfirst into the enormous, pitch-black tunnel.
Under Jiang Xiao's lead, everyone flew downward with practiced ease and, after a journey filled with danger but no real mishaps, found the open Sacred Ruins.
"Caw~" Jiang Xiao let out a cry.
As agreed, the crow behind him raised its head, and a dark-blue Space Gate abruptly appeared in front of them.
Jiang Xiao and Hu Wei swiftly flew inside. Zhang Songfu promptly closed the Space Gate, then beat his wings and, amid the White Ghosts' howls below, plunged headfirst into the layers of overlapping Space Gates.
Whoosh. "Caw! Caw!" Several cries rang out as the black crow shot into the sky. However, the scene before Zhang Songfu was far too familiar.
It was
