After the preliminary examination was complete, Anvis took out a small Magic Sampler and inserted its slender brass-colored needle into the elf's arm, collecting several tubes of blood that shimmered with a faint Mana glow.
Once the sampling was complete, Anvis removed four Crystal Ball tubes filled with blood from the sampler.
He inserted one tube into the slot of the Flesh Cultivation Device and placed another into the Demonic Bloodline Analyzer.
Then, he used scissors to cut off a strand of the elf's hair and placed it into the inscribed ring at the base of another magical instrument.
Under his skillful operation, the various instruments began running in an orderly fashion. Dim cyan Mana light flickered throughout the Laboratory, making it seem incomparably strange and mysterious.
Though he was secured to the experiment table, the Last Dragonborn could still move his head.
He raised his head with effort and watched Anvis's back as he operated the various instruments. The elf himself was also curious what results this research would yield.
In the quiet atmosphere, time passed second by second.
About half a magic hour later, a fresh test report was produced.
Looking at the displayed results in the Enchanted Crystal Ball, Anvis could not help but shake his head lightly.
The results from every instrument showed that the sample was no different from the bloodline and hair of an ordinary elf.
The Flesh Cultivation Device had cultivated a temporary duplicate of the elf, but its appearance was clearly different from the original body.
Most importantly, the duplicate's bodily structure was perfectly normal. It had not grown the Lament Set that Players wore close to their bodies.
This crude duplicate, specifically used for bloodline research, possessed no self-awareness. Anvis controlled the instruments to revert it, then cleaned up the remnants.
