Reflected in the polished mirror was a Silver-white Semi-transparent Youth. A dense, ink-black presence hung at his waist.
But the youth's face greatly surprised Anvis. It was not the face of his current body, but one far closer to the appearance of his former body on Blue Star.
"Well? Did you see it? They are different from us. In this mad world, only we who remain clear-headed are true companions."
Watching Anvis's actions, Theseus spoke calmly.
She was not surprised by Anvis examining himself. Or rather, in her view, once Anvis had come into contact with the true world, no action of his would be too bizarre.
"Then, if I want to return to... the dream, what should I do?" After looking around and gathering quite a bit of information, Anvis turned to Despair Theseus and asked how to return.
"Close your eyes. Imagine the leaves blocking your sight falling away, then open your eyes again."
Theseus explained concisely. Following her instructions, Anvis gave it a try, and everything in his vision indeed returned to normal.
"Man in the Mirror, are you all right?"
When Anvis reappeared, Lustful Lilith hurriedly checked him over to see whether Madness of the Bottom Hughes had affected his mind.
"No need to worry. I'm fine."
Anvis waved a hand, but inwardly recalled the world he had seen in that unusual state.
Theseus believed the entire world had fallen into madness, while Black Abyss believed that only Theseus herself had gone mad.
Anvis neither agreed nor disagreed with either view.
Like an irregularly shaped sculpture, when viewed from different angles, one could only see one side of it.
Likewise, when the world was viewed from different angles, it revealed different faces.
Perhaps Theseus was mad. Perhaps the world was mad. But that was not important;
