Although he knew those two items were likely rewards, he did not step forward to inspect them immediately. Instead, he deliberately detoured far around the table and began by examining the various Mystic-type books and objects displayed in the library.
Anvis worried that touching those two items might directly count as passing the welcoming ceremony, causing him to be teleported out of the Mirror Space at once.
As expected, although the books all appeared normal on the outside, not a single one could be opened.
The various objects were the same, merely things akin to Magic Projections that contained no mysterious properties whatsoever.
