Mystery School guide
The Mystery School's guide was a young male First Rank Mage with black eyes and tousled brownish-yellow hair. He wore the standard guide's robe and carried a wooden Staff set with a dark blue Crystal.
At the moment, he was slumped on a sofa in the Mystery School waiting area, idly fiddling with his Staff as he waited in boredom for any potential new students.
Before Anvis arrived, there had not been a single person in front of him.
In fact, throughout Pamir Academy, the Mystery School was considered an extremely obscure branch. Only a handful of new students enrolled each year, and they were mostly descendants of minor nobles and wealthy merchants.
Not everyone could be as prescient as Anvis. The vast majority, even if they entered the Mystery School, would merely waste their time.
"Hello, may I ask if this is the Mystery School waiting area?"
Hearing Anvis's question, the young man did not even raise his head. He casually pointed outward with his Staff and replied out of habit.
"You took the wrong way. This is the Mystery—"
As he spoke, the young man suddenly realized something and abruptly looked up at Anvis.
"Wait! You're a new student of the Mystery School?!"
"Yes, I'm a new student of the Mystery School."
Anvis looked calmly at the young man before him. After his initial shock faded, the young guide came back to his senses and launched into the standard guide's spiel.
"Please wait here for a moment. Once all the Mystic-type new students from the ship have arrived, I'll take you all to the Pamir Mystery and Ruins Academy."
"Alright."
