Like Anvis's Desire Seed, it was not actually some magical item, but a special existence composed of Alien Power.
Simply holding it, Anvis could feel the Desire Seed in his spiritual space beginning to tremble faintly, both fearful of a higher existence and yearning to go further.
However, the ruby-like crystal of Desire Power within the cup was now less than half full. The rest had vanished, presumably consumed during the battle with Anvis.
