Meeting

At noon on the day of the meeting, the main road from Silver Gull City's gates to the City Lord's Mansion had been cleared in advance by the City Guard. Anvis, the City Lord's Adjutant, and Head Maid Annie had long since gathered the attendants before the City Lord's Mansion gates, awaiting the Fourth Princess's arrival.

Soon, from the far end of the road, two orderly columns of knights clad in Magic Inscription Heavy Armor escorted an exquisite carriage bearing the Royal Crest, drawn by four Silver-White Unicorns, as it slowly approached from afar.

The knights' armor was a muted silver, emblazoned with a crest of intertwined roses and swords. Swords hung at their waists, while they carried ornate dark-gold lances and Cross Shields made of Anti-Magic Metal. Even their mounts were Fourth Rank Magical Beasts with Magical Beast bloodlines.

All the knights were Sixth Rank, led by two Seventh Rank knight commanders. Before the procession had even drawn near, it already gave off a faint yet oppressive aura.

"Those are Rose Knights Order knights? What are they doing here?"

"The person in that carriage must be someone important, probably a prince or princess!"
