"Finally shook them all off."
In the Deep Dream World, Anvis watched as the last Ninth Rank, caught off guard, was swept away by the collapse of a dreamworld phantom and vanished into the endless Dream Turbulence. He let out a soft breath.
By now, he had shaken off every pursuer. Although he too seemed to have lost his way in this boundless Deep Dream World, with the Inheritance Land serving as a special anchor, he could still use it as a stepping stone to return to the Yar Continent.
And with the Floating City's power protecting him, he could ensure that he would not be assimilated by the omnipresent, bizarre power of dreams and become someone forever unable to leave the Deep Dream World.
Anvis was fairly satisfied with the outcome of this operation.
Although Marquis Anlita had ultimately escaped, the true bodies of Marquis Emeraldscape and Marquis Beihim had been destroyed beneath the Floating City's assault without the slightest ability to resist.

It was just that the other party had perhaps underestimated the power of the Moon of No Light, or perhaps had never intended to save Marquis Beihim at all.
The strange force surging from the other end of the spiritual passage failed to block the Moon of No Light's annihilating attack. Instead, it dispersed into wisps of invisible, eerie mist, leaving
