With the support of the Aslaid Family, Viller Augustine, the Seventh Prince of the Gloria Empire, had relied on the Dragon Knights Order and the Dragonkin Legion as his main forces to completely "reclaim" all Imperial territory north of Palosia, the Imperial Royal Capital, except for Carlas Province.

Historians named this event the Golden Dragon Incident.

The Royal Capital itself was a special neutral safe zone, where the Royal Guardians were stationed. The imperial power struggle among the three princes would not spread here.

The First Prince's and Fourth Princess's factions had now been squeezed into the Empire's southern regions. The two had no choice but to swallow their hatred for the time being and join forces to resist the wildly expanding Seventh Prince's faction.
