After surveying his surroundings, Anvis waved a hand, and a Water Mirror appeared before him.
The mirror reflected a figure shrouded in a black cloak, its features and build too hazy to make out. However, an exquisite silver-white brooch was pinned over its left breast.
After checking himself and finding nothing wrong, Anvis followed the path and unhurriedly entered the castle.
As he passed through the entrance, a handsome attendant clad in silver-thread embroidered clothing silently emerged from the darkness upon noticing the color of his brooch, guiding him toward the Banquet Hall.
Anvis remained silent as well. He could tell that although the attendant before him looked just like a real person, it actually possessed no independent consciousness and was merely the effect of some Ritual Magic.
Soon, led by the attendant, Anvis entered the castle's Grand Banquet Hall.
The hall was decorated with exceptional luxury. Rows of White Long Tables laden with exotic dream delicacies stood throughout the room, while numerous attendants carrying Silver Trays moved among the guests, offering all kinds of Magic wine.
At this moment, dozens of black-cloaked figures like Anvis had already gathered inside. However, most wore bronze-colored brooches, while only a few cloaked figures bore silver brooches.
Whether out of some concern or mutual wariness, almost no one spoke to one another. The venue was utterly silent.
