Several armed vehicles stood near the Da Shun Delegation's temporary residence. Apart from the liaison staff, no one inside got out. They simply kept their eyes fixed on the residence.
After quite a wait, they saw the gates open. A squad of security personnel came down the steps first, fanned out to either side, and swiftly secured the street entrances.
Then Head Xie of the Visiting Delegation emerged, along with Luo Weina, several of her assistants, and her team.
Chen Chuan followed a step behind. He glanced toward the armed vehicles, and as his deep, still gaze swept over them, everyone inside involuntarily tensed. For a moment, the vehicles filled with pounding heartbeats and hurried breaths.
Head Xie and Luo Weina had finished speaking. She turned around, leaned on her cane, and bowed slightly to Chen Chuan, saying:
"Mr. Chen, now that I've transferred the dojo to you, it really isn't my place to say any more. But this old woman has poured decades of her heart and soul into it, and I can't help worrying. So I would shamelessly ask one more favor of you: please take good care of the dojo. I would be deeply grateful."
Chen Chuan nodded. "Madam Luo, I will. You can rest assured." He glanced toward where Alura stood. "I hear you're returning to your hometown, Madam Luo. I wish you all a safe journey."
Luo Weina bowed once more, then left with her team. After crossing to the other side, she got into a dedicated armored vehicle alone. Once everyone else had boarded their vehicles in turn, the convoy slowly pulled away under the eyes of the residence's security personnel.
After watching them leave, Chen Chuan returned inside with Head Xie. When he entered his room, Red Dust appeared beside him and said,
