"What's wrong?"
Li Zhōujūn looked at the woman who had called out to him, bewildered.
"Why are you here?" the woman demanded, her tone leaving no room for doubt. Her eyes regarded Li Zhōujūn as if he were nothing but garbage.
Facing her attitude, Li Zhōujūn chuckled. "Fishing."
"Heh." The woman gave a cold laugh. "Fishing?"
Clearly, she did not believe Li Zhōujūn.
"I see that you have some connection with that fellow Yan Jin." The woman snorted coldly. "I can't leave you alive."
With that, the woman ordered the burly man beside her, whose face was as cold as an iceberg, "Kill him."
"Yes, Young Sect Master." The iceberg-faced burly man raised his hand, condensing a fierce wind that tore through the void before slashing it toward Li Zhōujūn.
At the same moment the burly man made his move, Li Zhōujūn's cultivation became Fifty-Fifty with his. Before the fierce wind from the man's palm could reach him, Li Zhōujūn turned sideways with effortless grace and dodged the strike.
The burly man's palm strike cleaved through empty air. When they looked again at the spot where Li Zhōujūn had been standing, it already held a bottomless ravine. The terrifying force behind that palm was plain to see.
Seeing that Li Zhōujūn had dodged the fierce wind from his palm, the burly man's expression filled with surprise.
The woman merely knitted her brows and said to the burly man, "Don't waste time."
"Yes, Young Sect Master." The burly man answered, then narrowed his eyes at Li Zhōujūn as streams of magical power gathered over his palms.
As the burly man struck out with both palms, two terrifying giant palms descended like a net cast over heaven and earth, sealing off every path of retreat before pressing down toward Li Zhōujūn.
