Guo Zihang's final sentence plunged the entire group into silence.
No one spoke anymore. Even a dumbass like Qin Ziang, who used to shout in the cafeteria that he would pay for everyone, had nothing else to say.
To be honest, at that moment, they would rather believe their own eyes had deceived them than accept that what Guo Zihang, Huang Ying, and Yang Shuan had said was true.
Three hundred thousand yuan was not a sum that high school students could even touch.
Having ten yuan in their pockets was enough to send them jumping for joy. If they had three hundred thousand, wouldn't they be jumping right out of the Milky Way?
But then again, it was perfectly normal for Guo Zihang to brag on Jiang Qin's behalf. He had always been Jiang Qin's lackey, even back in school. But Huang Ying and Yang Shuan had no reason to help Jiang Qin brag.
So what Guo Zihang said was true? But they felt heartbroken just spending money to get a yellow diamond on QQ. How dare that bastard Jiang Qin spend three hundred thousand? Were they even attending the same damn high school?
The most shocked person among them was actually Chu Siqi. She had never imagined that Jiang Qin had done so much during Summer Vacation, and every single thing was unbelievable.
While everyone else was still chatting and surfing the internet at home, keeping their online hours up to earn sun icons, stealing crops in Happy Farm, and dying over their early romances, Jiang Qin had already been doing business worth hundreds of thousands.
Yet he had never advertised it. It was as if hundreds of thousands were not worth showing off.
Thinking of this, Chu Siqi suddenly felt that Jiang Qin had become distant in her heart, leaving her with a panicked sense that she could never reach him.
So it turned out he hadn't stayed away because he was afraid of embarrassing himself.
He really had been doing business.
While everyone else was wasting their time and proving they had grown up by drinking, he had transformed into someone who astonished the entire class.
After being dazed for a moment, Chu Siqi suddenly felt a little angry.
How could Jiang Qin not tell her about something so important? Even Guo Zihang knew, yet he had deliberately kept it from her. That was too much. He used to share everything with her!

"But didn't you say the business was selling boxed lunches? I saw you selling boxed lunches before!"
Guo Zihang typed out a string of ellipses. "Lao Gan Ma used to sell wontons. Did that stop them from starting a company?"
Qin Ziang could no longer sit still. "Impossible. I don't even have three hundred thousand. Where could he have gotten three hundred thousand? You're talking nonsense!"
Guo Zihang sent him a smiling emoji. "Stop comparing yourself with Jiang Qin. What skill is relying on your father?"
"What are you talking about?" Wang Huiru suddenly emerged from lurking.
Chu Siqi: "Hui Ru, they said Jiang Qin spent three hundred thousand renting half a bar!"
"What?!"
"Don't you also find that hard to believe?"
After hesitating for a while, Wang Huiru replied, "It's all right. A few days ago, I saw something even harder to believe happen to Jiang Qin."
Chu Siqi instantly sent a shocked emoji. "What else happened?"
"..."
"Hui Ru, did you disconnect?"
"It's nothing, it's nothing. I was just joking."
After hesitating again and again, Wang Huiru still did not tell them about Jiang Qin and Feng Nanshu.

Besides, he felt he needed to explain himself to Guo Zihang: I don't show off because this sort of thing is childish. Can't you stop acting as the sacrificial bird for your godfather?
He should just turn off his phone.
Otherwise, he would still want to look.
He had to admit, having someone else show off on his behalf did feel pretty good.
Jiang Qin held down the power button, waited for the screen to go dark, then carried a bag of snacks into Jizhou City Library.
Half a month had passed in the blink of an eye since he returned from Hot Spring Town. He had not seen Little Rich Woman again, and they had barely chatted on QQ. Since the bar was not open yet, he decided to stop by and have a look.
As soon as he reached the library's second floor, he saw Little Rich Woman.
Today, she wore a white dress with a small black bow tie. Quiet and well-behaved, she held a thick book in her hands, but her gaze was not on the book. It was fixed outside the window.
Actually, since returning from Hot Spring Town, Feng Nanshu had come to the library every day. She wanted to finish the final volume of The Magic Eye Girl Peggy Sue.
This volume was said to be the most interesting in the entire series.
It told the story of a terrible disaster on Kandata Planet.

Feng Nanshu gazed out the brightly sunlit window at the lush branches and leaves covering the trees, and suddenly sensed an indescribable loneliness in her heart.
Just then, the chair opposite her was suddenly pulled out.
Feng Nanshu hurriedly came back to herself and saw Jiang Qin sit down without a word. He gently set down the bag of snacks in his hand.
"These past few days have nearly killed me with work. I finally have time to take a break. Little Rich Woman, how have you been lately?"
"Jiang Qin, I think I'm really a little lonely."
A trace of confusion flashed through Feng Nanshu's cool eyes.
Reading alone had been her most basic way of life, while Jiang Qin's appearance was merely an accident in that life. It was like a peanut suddenly being mixed into a jar of rice. Once the peanut was picked out, shouldn't it still be a jar of rice?
But she could not understand why life had suddenly begun to feel lonely.
