As the Spring Festival drew near, Jizhou was blanketed in heavy snow, and the entire city was clad in silver, looking especially enchanting.

People hurrying to work puffed out clouds of warm breath in the freezing snow, their steps hurried, while students on their way to school took their time, insisting on rolling a snowball around in their hands.

This obscure little city with its slow pace had a unique charm during this season.

Construction of Jizhou's New City Area had begun in full in 2009, and by mid-2014, it was essentially complete. The newly planned commercial districts, residential areas, and school districts had all been put into use.

The most eye-catching sight in the entire area was a thirty-story building standing slightly north of the center of the New City Area. Six large characters reading "Pinduoduo Customer Service Center" stood prominently atop it.

Apart from this building, there was also an industrial park not far away, with a sign engraved with the words "Pinduoduo Transit Logistics Park."

These two parks had brought nearly ten thousand jobs to Jizhou, solving the problem of many people having to leave home to find work. At the same time, they had rapidly livened up the New City Area and spurred the development of the surrounding businesses.
