They had to pass through the storms that perpetually surrounded Azkaban before they could reach the wizarding world's infamous prison: Azkaban.
The exact location of Azkaban Prison had been concealed by the Ministry of Magic long ago. Ordinary wizards had no idea where the sea prison was, but finding its precise location was not actually as difficult as it seemed.
